JDD 2025 – The heart of JAVA beats here!

Another edition of JDD Conference is behind us – and what an unforgettable experience it was!
For two inspiring days, over 600 developers, architects, and technology enthusiasts gathered in Kraków to celebrate 30 years of Java, knowledge sharing, and the power of community. With more than 60 talks, powerful networking, and discussion formats, JDD 2025 once again proved to be the ultimate meeting point for JVM professionals from Poland and beyond.
This year’s edition was filled with innovation, curiosity, and authentic connection. From thought-provoking keynotes to lively hallway conversations, JDD reminded us why the Java ecosystem continues to thrive – it’s all about people who build, learn, and grow together.
Highlights of JDD 2025
- Keynote by Ed Burns – “How We Lost the Internet”
One of the most anticipated moments of the conference, the keynote by Java legend Ed Burns, offered an insightful reflection on the evolution of the web and the lessons we should carry into the future of software development. - Panel discussion: “JAVA AIpocalypse”
Java legends and practitioners took the stage to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping the future of Java, development practices, and the very role of software engineers. The discussion sparked passionate debates: from automation to ethics and left the audience with plenty to think about. - Soft Skills Track
Because great developers are more than just great coders, the new soft skills track provided practical sessions on communication, leadership, and career growth – all tailored for the modern tech professionals. - Unconference Format
A unique addition to this year’s program as a successful continuation from previous JDD was the Unconference – informal, participant-driven discussion circles where attendees could share experiences, exchange ideas, and brainstorm solutions to real-world challenges. It was learning at its most collaborative and authentic.
More Than Just a Conference
JDD 2025 was more than a tech event – it was a living, breathing celebration of community, curiosity, and creativity. From world-class content to the JDD Afterparty, every moment reminded us that technology connects people as much as it empowers them.
A heartfelt thank-you to our program committee, speakers, partners, volunteers, and all 600+ attendees for making JDD 2025 such an incredible success. You are the heart of this community and the reason we can’t wait for the next edition.
