JUGmajster 2025: calling all Java User Group speakers!
Are you an active member of a Java User Group and ready to showcase your expertise on a national stage? The JUGmajster competition is back at JDD 2025, giving talented JUG speakers the chance to showcase their skills.
What is JUGmajster?
The JUGmajster contest allows Java User Group members to present their knowledge to a wider audience.
Candidates must be active community members, who have spoken at least once at a JUG meeting but are first-time speakers at JDD. Each JUG can nominate multiple candidates. If the number of applications exceeds capacity, the Program Committee will select the final list of debut speakers.
- JUGmajster talks will take place on the 1st day of JDD.
- The winner will be announced on the 2nd day, chosen based on audience ratings and the Program Committee’s review.
- JUGmajster speakers enjoy all the rights of regular speakers, including travel and accommodation reimbursement, recording of their presentations, and support from the Program Committee.
How to apply?
Nominate yourself or be nominated by your JUG leader by emailing: joanna.matusiak@proidea.org.pl with “JUGmajster” in the title.
Applications must include:
- name, surname, and contact details
- short bio and photo
- topic and description of the talk (+ recording if available)
- name of the JUG
