JUGmajster Community Speaker Program
Emerging voices from Java User Groups
Each year, JDD invites speakers from Java User Groups across Poland and Europe to present on the conference stage. Through the JUGmajster initiative, community speakers can share their ideas with the JDD audience and join the conference program alongside experienced engineers. The best talk is selected by attendees and awarded the JUGmajster title.
How to apply
Qualifications:
- You are an active JUG community member
- You have spoken at at least one JUG meetup
- You have not previously spoken at JDD
- One JUG may submit multiple candidates
The Program Committee will select a shortlist of speakers to present on the first day of the conference. The JUGmajster winner is chosen by the audience (through lecture rating in the Eventory application) and announced on day two of JDD.
Why participate
JUGmajster speakers receive the same benefits as regular JDD speakers, such as a conference speaking slot, travel and accommodation reimbursement (up to 1000 PLN), support from the Program Committee and a talk recording published online.
The winner also receives a Wild Card for the JDD 2027 program.
